The product question

How might a digital reservation prepare someone for the physical reality of arrival, access and exit? The study begins by keeping the consequential decision visible while mapping the policies, operational handoffs and evidence behind the interface.

What the flow must explain

A useful flow explains what changed, what information supports the change, which limitations matter, and what a person can do next. It preserves context across steps rather than making each screen feel like a fresh start.

Representative evidence

  • A plain-language decision statement and explicit exclusions.
  • A complete path across desktop, mobile, keyboard and recovery states.
  • Named ownership for policy, content, service handoffs and future updates.
  • A release checklist with acceptance evidence and rollback conditions.
Good interaction design makes the service easier to explain, not only easier to click.

Design direction

The visual layer stays restrained so hierarchy, choices and consequences remain visible. Prototypes use realistic content lengths, edge cases and errors; decorative polish follows evidence rather than replacing it.

Responsible interpretation

This page is a representative product-design scenario created for Jimmy Design. It is not an account of work performed for a named client and does not claim measured commercial outcomes.
